Sorry @FiiO - but it is still not gapless playback for DSD.

I have converted an SACD ISO to DSF files - Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" album. The transition between tracks still has a very audible bump between them.

DFF files are not an option, nor are ISO's - because you can't change the metadeta on them, so they screw up the library sorting, ending up as "Unknown Albums".

Sorry - but I have to switch back to Neutron for the time being!

Note: Gapless does not work on any FLAC that I have, regardless of resolution/bitrate.. FiiO Music Player is the only one with this issue. All other players that I tried (UAPP, PowerAmp, Neutron) work fine with exactly the same material.

So thanks to @FiiO I found out that switching off MQA in the FiiO Music Player solves the gapless playback issue that I still seemed to have with all my live albums... Thanks!!

But.... at the same time hat created another issue.. I also have MQA FLAC files.. So that forces me to switch MQA on/off depending on what I listen ..

So I am curious whether or not it would somehow be possible to make gapless playback work when the MQA switch is active. I currently have no live concerts on MQA yet.. But I might get some in the future..

*update* to which FiiO responded:
'We are not sure whether we could add the gapless support for MQA in the later future. But we will try to assess and add if we can'

I must say that I find FiiO to be a highly responsive very customer centric manufacturer... !!

(I know quite a few manufacturers that absolutely pale in comparison..)

Is there any way to see the sample rate in the tidal app? All I see is the master but how I know if this is unfolded to 96 or higher sample rate. I know that the M11 pro will not do 8xmqa unfold but again how we know the exact output sample rate from the tidal app?

If you would like to try the beta firmware, you could add the group first. If the gapless function fails to work, please check whether you have turned on the MQA option.
You could also share the music files to us for check.
