AÜR AUDIO IEMs

I'm one of those individuals who cable rolls and puts my stuff away with thr cables removed from IEMs so everytime I want to use it, id have to insert cable into IEM sockets.

Even the bigger brands dont cover, "problems from using aftermarket cables". AüR at least explains in detail.

This is what happend to my Moondrop after using Effect Audio cables. Moondrop nor Effect Audio honor their warranty due to "human error". It was tight and I shouldnt have used force to remove or inserted it in the first place but it is what it is.

So…what does the warranty actually cover again? Cause that sure read like a list of most of the theoretical fail points

Yeah quite comprehensive list from Empire Ears, but I don't think they are alone with such a detailed policy for the warranty. Still have not ruined any IEM by wear, but I guess it often comes back to human error or using bad cables.

Hi! I ordered Neon Pros IEMs few days ago and I cant wait to try them :). I am wondering what cables do you recommend for Neon Pros? I will use them with E1DA 9038D which has a ESS chip (9038Q2M) which can be a little bright. I suppose some quality copper or some copper mix cable would be great for this combo. I am thinking of spending 150eur max for replacement cable.
I was thinking about something like this:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004392680471.html (Hakugei Healer)
or MAYBE
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005278793614.html (Hakugei Frey)

Hi, congrats on new shiny purchase. Copper is the right way to go on Neon Pro for me, just a warning on both the Hakugei cables you shared they are both on the thicker side and can be uncomfortable. Nothing wrong with them sonically, they are great there. But you pay more for hardware being nice, while the cables are similar to other brands when looking under to hood at the wire configs.

Going to share a few cables I recommend for Neon Pro:

XINHS 4 core
is cheap(depends who you ask) but a very great copper cable, can be custom made if you ask the maker. Soft flexible and great sounding.

Was about to share a 16core XINHS I got trough messaging with him, a very good 16 core and is sonically over similar cheap brands.

ISN C16
It is similar sonically but slightly thicker, still thinner and more flexible than the Hakugei Frey.

NiceHCK C16
A very cheap alternative 16 core that does nothing wrong IMO if you want something that do not ruin the bank.

NiceHCK BlackSoul
This is also great and looks very cool, price is not at its lowest been at $35. This is unique in that it tames some of the treble while keeping the Bass and Mids forward.

ISN Audio GC4
I tried this cable some months ago on the SA6 and it did wonders on the resolution and soundstage, should do the same on Neon Pro.

Penon Obsidion is similar to the GC4 cheaper, but I would have gone for the GC4 instead.

PW Audio Copper 28 V2
Another great copper that is inexpensive and a favourite by many
https://www.mtmtaudio.com/en-no/products/pw-audio-copper-28-headphone-upgrade-cable

And again there is many other brands out there that are probably also good, even custom makers.

Dear Leonarfd, thank you very much for your suggestions. I will probably order some of the recommended cables.

Btw, I already have Penon OS849 cable (6n single crystal copper silver-plated cable) at hand, will try that also, I just have to get mmcx to 2-pin adapter since OS849 has an mmcx connector.

Does the NP need burn in?
It only BA, so in theory nothing should change with burn in.

As a rule (depending on who you ask)
DD can change
EST can change

Looks absolutely stunning

Surprised people claimed it was bassy. Judging from the graph, the midbass seems to ease out relatively Harman-like. Penon 10th and now Aurora... Temptations are running strong currently...

Subjective I know, but I think they would have looked even better with a transparent shell to match the faceplate

AüR Audio Aurora is now open for orders:

https://www.auraudio.store/product-page/aurora

750S SGD or roughly 550usd

I am super psyched and already have one that is shipped from first batch soon.

Ordered mine too, the FR-curve and the 2DD make this purchase mandatory. My main target here is to have an Allrounder set instead of a very specific signature.

@Leonarfd : How are the AüR Audio stock cable?
