Yes, and I currently have the Penon Impact as my substitute while my Alita is on tour and still doesn't doesn't match the Alita due to more of Impacts forwardness in the mids which us great for vocals but Alita is a different beast.
I cannot wait for my Mentawai to come in from Fred. I keep reading its Traillii with DD bass and more energy.
Yeah they should open back up in April. I'm sure they'll make an announcement on their FB page. Just keep an eye out. They are made to order so get on the list or you'll be waiting a longer than others.
Pretty much spot on. Alita is my preference for Orchestral since over 50% of my library consists of it.
It can get loud and not be fatiguing due to how the treble is tuned. Surprisingly enough it doesn't lose the details and resolution with the treble roll off; furthermore, it's the best in terms of how realistic the instruments sound, at least to me.
Unable to comment on differences between the 3 models (having only one of them at hand atm) I would still like to chime in and confirm those voices, that attest the Neon Pro an allrounder talent. It is amazing how delightful the NP handles all kinds of genres - including classical recordings be it orchestral, chamber or vocal focused music. Based on the graphs (btw thank you s2kphile) the Alita seems to be tuned quite similar to the NP with the highs less prominent as mentioned before...
It will be very interesting to see in which way the new model announced for this years second half (and which I am very tempted by already for it's differing technicalities alone ) will be tuned in the end...
