Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the touch wheel? I overshoot when trying to select things a lot.

If you are on the latest firmware, I personally like to disable the new click wheel feature and solely uses it as scroll wheel. I find the click feature sometime makes thing jump around.

Hi. Just purchased this player as my on-the-go device. But, as with all audio enthusiast, I have to ask, is there anyway to disassemble the player?

You would lose all warranty and be on your own if you do that (?)

Also, I'm not sure, but it should be possible. FiiO DAPs are quite maintenance friendly in general.

I understand that that is part of the risk one takes when undertaking such actions.

That said, it looks harder to pry open than the previous iteration of the X1. I dont see any screws on the player.

Dear Rei87,

It may be not be easy for user to disassemble the player. We don't suggest user to do this because it may damage the X1II. But if you still want to, we can also provide the instruction to you.

Best regards

I understand why someone might want to take apart the player to replace the battery at some point but I'm not sure why you'd want to do that when it's new.

Format the card from the settings menu (you will lose all your files though obviously).

Dear GamerStudent,
What's the firmware version of your X1II? And what file system is your TF card?
It may take a few minutes for finishing the update, you may wait to see whether the update works normal?
Best regards

I never noticed this before maybe some of you have but the X1ii wont display artwork over a certain size. I had to reduce the size of some images down to 300kb or so in order for them to display. I guess they were fairly hi resolution files which isn't needed of course. Not a big deal I just never had that happen before on one of my DAPs.

I think that the size constraints are for the image to be under 300x300 pixels.

I had this happen with every DAP I owned to date, including some smartphones. Very large artwork might be displayed on some, but will make the DAP lag just because it was not deisgned to process the image files at a much larger resolution (CPU limitations)
