Hi Head-Fi Family!

We're noticing more chatter on Head-Fi about the tia Trió lately. Those that have listened to it seem to have recognized it's quite a unique earphone among our lineup. It's got that airy 3D sound the Fourté is known for, but with what is best described as a more musical, casual, "laid back" signature. It features our all-tubeless design found in the flagship Fourté and a hybrid dynamic/BA configuration.

We'll let you in on a little secret. It doesn't sell as well as our other universal models and we're not quite sure why! We thought we'd give it a little bump, and give you an opportunity to save almost $700. We have limited quantities of this run available, so we'll be running this promotion until we're out!

Code trio30 at checkout

Head on over to https://www.64audio.com/tia-trio-universal-in-ear-monitors#overview and learn more about this gem.

Due to poor Australian dollar this still is too expensive, if 64 audio can bring something to thr market that is in the same price bracket as IER-z1R, that would be amazing. As it, beside for this Trio is a tier below ier-z1r.

Also curious about the authorized dealers running the same 30% off.

I am a recent owner of the Trio. Actually it’s my Christmas present and so I can’t use it until Santa puts it under the tree :) When I demoed it I thought it had a really nice signature. I would agree that it is a softer version of the Forte, and I mean softer in a good way. I loved the warm feel of it and I was wowed by some of the detail I was hearing. I thought it was something I could relax with and I didn’t get any sense of fatigue. For me it was perfect.

Why does it not sell as well as the other models in the range? Well I think of it as the middle child in a family. Everyone is proud of the oldest son, and everyone loves the cute younger daughter, but the child in the middle kind of gets left behind.

Over on the official 64 Audio thread Trio gets a few mentions, but the vast majority of posts (and I mean vast majority) are about Forte, A/U18T, A/U12t and the N8. I’ve even seen posts where someone lists the 64 Audio range and completely misses out the Trio. Now I’m not a marketer, but I think it would be useful if someone from 64 Audio had a strong presence on that thread and kept the Trio love alive. Just my thoughts anyway.

Peace out. (mic drop)

Is it being discontinued?

1. It doesn’t sell well.

2. It has a deep discount until supplies disappear.

Independent of being discontinued or updated/upgraded, this discount makes the Trio on the price point it should've been since first day.

Mahah I bet I am the one who started the trio saga lately
Cause I started posting my amazing revelation about trio and how much more I love it over the forte I had!

Trio is really the best all arounder, treble just right and perfect never piercing. Bass is fun and with a good slam, when needed it can be a clubbing monster and if need accuracy it will change according the song you play.

I love the LiD tech, it balanced the coherency of the trio and sounds more forward with a good active drive.
Tough Id love 64a to make trio a little more visceral ) ) )
And bass little more nuanced, with more textures and layers. Like forte...

Apex is also a very must have, I cant stand no other iem anymore due to the air pressure on my eardrums. Trio feels open and light on my ears.

Cable rolling trio also can improve the sound, overall Id say the stock cable is very good make trio sound balanced.
Trio like silver cables I think.

Soon will receive a plussound gold plated silver cable , it was the reccomend type, so soon new experiments awaits!
