I liked my DT880 better anyway but the Ultrasone pro 750 wasn't too bad. Just not as smooth sounding or comfortable. Today I went by Goodwill and found these for $6, quadrophonic headphones Realistic Nova44 (I use them in stereo mode from my Pioneer reciever ):
Modded them to take care of a bit of resonance (foam rubber from dollar store):
Did a comparison between my Ultrasone pro 750. Results? I don't like my Ultrasone anymore, these $6 headphones Kill it. The Ultrasone sounds thin, harsh and flat. The Nova44 is a great can to rock out to! Spent hours listening to Rob Zombie, System of a Down, Otep and others.
Just need to mod new earpads, these aren't very comfortable at all.
