Best is without sleeves

I'm leaning on agreeing with that, though haven't completely made up my mind just yet. Using the Monk Plus with the rubber rings seems to give me the best type of sound to my preference. However, the different types change the sound quite dramatically, and will probably be a personal preference for each person. I've been burning mine in all day since this morning. Will report if I notice any changes after 100 hours.

Shall I go for Asura 2.0 over Monk plus?, as I already have Original monk.

If you can afford it - yes.  Review will be up shortly.

Got to try them briefly: the monks 1.0, and the Asura 2.0 and Zen 2.0. Love the monks from the get go.

Asura 2.0 ain't bad either. The Zen 2.0 doesn't sit well with my left ear (naked) and might need to some amp power (see what tour package I have lying around). The monk is basic music 101 done right.

Bang for buck, and I'd say the most accessible end game. scales well with most gear!

Asura review is up.  Couple of measurements of the new Monk Plus in there too.

I get my first pair in a few days. Curious to see how the xbox one handles them.

I find the Monk Plus treble to be more extended and detailed vs. Monk 1.0, and with its detailed midrange (compared to Monk 1.0 again) it is actually good for gaming :) I play on a Playstation 3 using an E17 as an optical dac. Will play some more tonight (gotta finish up Crysis 3 lol) and report back how it fares in that regard.

Any good way to add a Mic to the monks?
