thats the vmodacable... the main cable is actually a male to male..
but it has an additional 3 inch long "share play" cable with a female socket
supposedly another headfone can be inserted to share the music.

 
so i just used that to tap the silverplated coloration .

Ahh Zhibli / Lee - I followed my link for the VE Monk's that I had favorited, the ridiculously high price showed up, but with the explanation in the description of the process (which wasn't there before). I then fumbled around trying to order (3 or 4 times for one order). I just logged on to Head Fi (for the first time as registered user: hi all ! ) and now I read that it only worked for when it was priced at 15$ .. Will I have to refresh the AE page daily to place an order again when they are listed at 15$ again?
