So when can we expect Custom Fit earbud? 

I think a custom fit earbud would be extremely hard to get right. Earbuds can be great precisely because they don't go into your ear canals. The sound interacting with your ear canal instead of a silicone or acrylic medium imo is much better. I tried to convert the monk+ into earpods using special silicon tips just so that I could fit them in my ears securely. But it only made them sound bad.


That said, I guess if it was made well, it would still sound good.

It seems like there is still alot of user prefer the old monk SQ over the new one.. But one thing I think everyone would agree is that the new monk's esthetic look and felt is better.. So maybe VE could consider a version using the old tuning with the new shell/cable..

Or i just want to enjoy n prolong this torturing phase of my headfi-life, $5????dammmmm!!!

Usually i look for quiet surroundings when i m doing 'serious listening" with buds ...
Otherwise buds are for backgroundmusic only, when pounding shoppingmalls
Buds, by design are not good for "serious listening in noisy places".
Those trying buds for the first time should be aware of this b4 buying

Do you also use the 75 ohm adapter cable? If not, man, you should get one. I have mine since yesterday, and ozkan is right. You don´t know how damn good the monks can sound until you try them  with this thing.

basically you are changing it to an iem LOL

lol, I like how the monks sounded, just that i wanted to try some "mods" to improve the fitting.
