Does Mumford & Sons count as 2010? I remember listening to it in 2009... no matter really, it's still fantastic regardless of its release year.

I had it in my database as 2010. CD Universe lists its original year as 2009, but its release date as February 16, 2010? You're right good music in any year!

Haha my friend is also quick to point out that almost none of my music has a bad rating on pitchfork.  It is either well-reviewed or not reviewed.  He says I have no music taste since I just rely on their opinion :frowning2:

I enjoy my music though.

"There is Love In You" - Four Tet
"Teen Dream" - Beach House
"Swim" - Caribou
"Innerspeaker" - Tame Impala (Australian band)
"The Bride Screamed Murder" - The Melvins (this one has gotten mixed reviews, but the Melvins are awesome, and while this one has some clunkers, any Melvins album since adding Big Business to the lineup would be high on my list. They are killin it.)

EDIT: To say that I finally received my vinyl copy of "The Suburbs" by Arcade Fire, which is why I didn't include it yet since I hadn't heard it. I am adding that one to the list though. It's awesome.

I've only picked up a handful of new releases so far this year.  But my favorite so far is The Suburbs, by Arcade Fire.  It's been growing on me.

I'm going to go check out the other recommendations in this thread, too.
