1964 Ears Adel IEMs

I also ordered the a12 that have yet to arrive.... So you are telling me that I can fit other modules inside of the a12 that aren't straight from 64 audio?

Worth a shot imo. Let us know if you decide to try a ADEL module.

As someone who just received my a12 a little over month ago, I can say that they are not compatible with Adel modules.

ADEL modules are too wide/too thin?

Did you try? Can they be fitted with a little DIY attitude?

I think so. Though I personally prefer the Apex so i hadnt considered any sort of modifying. But i think it is doable.

Sorry, but it's not doable. Don't give people wrong ideas because they will damage shells intended for Apex only module and will loose the warranty.

It is not doable because? Have you tried it?

Because a lot of other people in this thread tried it, do the search. And because it was intentionally designed like that. There is no issue using Apex modules with Adel shells, I do use it, but not the other way around.

It's quite interesting that the ADEL module is wider than apex. Will there be any differences in sounds when using apex module on ADEL shell, compared to apex on apex shell? Or more concrete example, old U12 with m20 vs new U12 with m20.

No, this is incorrect. I will be sending Joe an email shortly about this. In fact, now even if you had ADEL versions of 64 iems and if you need them repaired, you're also no longer able to get them to fit ADEL after repair. So keep em safe!

So 64Audio can / may not repair them? I'll receive a APEX replacement if my U8 ADEL's fails?
That's seriously F'ed upped if that's the case.

Besides that, what's up with the Drum's? It's awfully quiet.
