1964 Ears Adel IEMs

Hey guys! I've been torn between getting the A3 or A6 and would appreciate any thoughts on it. I'd expect them to be tuned similarly, but with more details for the A6. Just wondering if the difference in detail is worth the extra hundreds for it.

Any thoughts?

They are tuned a bit differently, I would suggest for u to audition them if possible

Has anyone tried U18? What are your thoughts?
I demo-ed it in Shanghai and found it very, very flat. In fact they sound like u12 with attenuated low end. The mids and highs of the U18 and u12 are similar but U18 has slightly more forward mids that is more resolving.
But the bass though... Just too little for me. :frowning2:

It's fairly flat, but more resolving and the bass was satisfying for me. I think I prefer the Tia over it, but only slightly.

The Tia / u18 were the only things at the entire CanJam in the IEM world that legit blew me away and made me immediately smile. I spent more time with them than average, about 25 mins each.

Then I guess u didn't see the empire booth and ask Jack about the prototypes

I heard the prototype hybrid they're working on. It was tiny, beautiful, and sounded very good, I'd be happy with it! But I strongly preferred the Tia to that.

We r talking 2 diff prices and it's still a prototype :smirk:
