I'll upload photos and a more detailed account of the event iun a little bit, once I finish unpacking.
 
Highlights:

1. Stax SR007 MK1 with the Woo Audio GES and also through a KGSSHV amp. Sounded fantastic.
2. Sennheiser HE60 through the same Woo Audio GES. Even better.
3. Sennheiser Orpheus through the HEV90. Very nice, but the Senn stand wasn't well geared for critical listening.
4. Finally listened to the Koss ESP950 with a Stax SRM 717 energizer...I'll be ordering these as soon as there's a price drop.
5. Chatting with Jude. Very chill guy.
6. Heir Audio Tzar 90 and 350, very much enjoyed these.
7. Got to chat with Swimsonny, he has a seriously nice IEM collection.

 
Disappointments:

1. My D5000's broke(photos to follow).
2. Heir Audio 4Ai...meh, not enough sparkle for me.
3. The Tralucent 1+2 wouldn't fit in my ear.
4. The RE400...boring IEM and less detail than the RE262. Much preferred the RE262 and I feel the RE400 is very over hyped.
5. Didn't win anything in the raffle.

I was really planning on jumping on to the RE400

Again, saying "it's not run of the mill" or "it's the best ever" is not convincing enough. I mean, who the hell expect that when pushing Madoka Magica for example to someone that dislikes mahou shoujo by using only "it's the best" or "it's not run of the mill magical girl show" is going to make that person watch it, without some hooks like "characters die for real in it" or "real mindscrew happened".
