I can't get into the habit of eating cartilage though. Often times the pieces are too small and annoying to chew. It's also a weird semi-squishy yet firm structure that I don't really like.

It's basically the same RPG / card game as their previous title Verethragna with different settings and characters.
 
This game is quite a bit shorter, I finished the game in 2 days while Verethragna took me almost a week.
there's less h-content too, 67 vs 96 scenes.
 
System is much more refined compared to the last game but this time they were being a bit too generous on EXP IMO.
The previous game was hardcore btw, I downloaded save files to get past the final boss because it was simply impossible at my level.
It was a classic example of entering the final dungeon too early only to get stuck at the boss....

It's pretty trope-y, but I never felt like that intruded on the story, which is really strong and kept me wanting more.
