  The 5.2" size of the Z5 (Regular) seems to be fine. From the photos it looked like the compact was slightly thicker than the normal version?

 
It definitely looks that way. Not a problem for me because as a smaller device it'd need to be thicker to provide equal battery life.
 

 

  The densest LCD screen I've seen in a phone was in the HTC One M7, which had a 4.7" 1080p display @ 468 ppi. The Z3C's 4.6" 720p is still a healthy 319 ppi, which is more than enough. the iPhone 6's 4.7" Retina display is plenty sharp, and it's "only" 326 ppi.

 
Yeah, as long as the density is around 320 ppi I'll be happy. I don't need something like the HTC One M7's 450+; it'd be nice to have but it's certainly not a necessity.

Yeah looks good to me if it's an extra millimeter or so because battery life cannot be compromised.
 
I honestly thought the phones looked really ugly from this angle and in that color but the other released photos on the Xperia Blog that show it in gold actually look kind of nice. At the very least the sides aren't as curvy so it's easier to hold.

I know the 8GB 256GB SSD model is more of a sweet spot but the one I bought now is at a price I can swallow (1392SGD for student purchase)
 
Yes now I am studying in a university like most of you are, and the Surface Pro 3 is pretty much perfect for note taking, at least I can keep up with the lecturer lol
 
Haven't really done a drawing though, my drawing skills are still pretty horrible and I would need to find time to refine it (which is, after I quit my current job)

lol nice, I've thought about getting one before but I ended up getting an android tab due to its low performance/price ratio.
I later realized that a tablet wasn't enough as my daily driver for college life so I got an ultrabook.
Then I started playing games..... I bought a desktop last week.
story of my wallet. lol
