I really shouldn't be speaking so critically. If something happens to my desktop (e,g, fire), I'm doomed. I really need an online backup or something.

I'm neutral on 2D vs 3D. 2D can be perfect, but sometimes the animators go a bit overboard. 3D can go overboard too, but at least 3D is governed by real world physics and stuff so it doesn't get as crazy.

RAID1.
 
Desktop PC, 2TB of SSDs -> important documents backed up to cloud and external HDD -> everything except steam games backed up to NAS -> NAS uses 2 x 2TB(need to upgrade these) Drives in RAID1.

15TB's worth hdd's here. 2 x 120GB ssd in RAID 0 for OS, 1TB WD Black for games and other programs, 2x2TB RAID 10 for data, rest is non RAID. No NAS but a BBU RAID Controller for the rest of the hard drives which are individual disks no RAIDS.
