I have the HQCD reprint. : D

I use the transformation music as a test track. DR13! : o

It's wonderful isn't it? I bought the regular cd. I wasn't able to find much info about the advantages of HQCDs in terms of sound quality. From what I've read SQ is the same and HQCD is not comparable to SACDs from my understanding. Do you know any other difference between formats?

I was curious too, so I bought both the HQCD and the regular edition from CDJapan. XD

The HQCD sounds more dynamic to me, as it is from the DR ratings, but it might be more due to the master than the actual material of the disc. The same thing probably goes for other material-based CDs like SHMCDs, which I do have a couple of.

I wanna cri

I ordered the MassDrop HD6xx half a year ago. But only just noticed that they canceled my order as there was a payment issue. They sent me one email about it and gave me 10hours to correct.... Half my fault...but at the same time. They fricking spam my inbox with schiit all the time.

Now I have to order it again and get it by late March :frowning2: Oh well...happy birthday to me then I guess when it arrives?

Even worse as I live down the street from Sennheiser HQ -_-

I found these Knipex precision wire strippers for 65 dollarydoos on eBay, they're normally at least twice that price. (cheap because apparently it was surplus at an auction liquidation)

They've completely changed my life, I'm happier, healthier, eating better, exercising more...thank you Germany, thank you thank you thank you.

screw this was a good draw for only 30 loveca's!!!

-------------

Have rashes all over my body except on my legs. :frowning2:

At first it was just my wrist and knuckles that felt an itch so I only noticed it there. Thought it was my glove that I just put on since a long time, but I've written those every fall/winter for three years so that didn't seem right.

Now I'm itching all over... T-T

Either I ate something I didn't know I was allergic to and I'll wake up in the morning with rashes on my legs as well, or its my jacket that I just put on, which was dry cleaned a while back in preparation for winter...

...

*sob*

--------------

Another draw for 40 loveca.

Still so worth it...

Final draw for this limited scouting...

Well, hope everything goes smoothly from now on...

-------------

Super unproductive day as I couldn't sleep well due to the rashes. They mostly went away during the day, but they are back now just as I'm ready to sleep. ;-;

Not as bad as yesterday, but this time they appeared on my legs too. .-.

Maybe I should just skip what I have planned for the next day just to rest/catch up. Been burnt out for about a month due to overwork and can't move the fingers very well in my right hand. There's constant uncomfort/pain with the muscles that pull my fingers. Wouldn't have noticed how messed up mentally I am if it wasn't for the people around me kindly showing concern.

--------------

On the up side, my new paint brush and palette arrived. The palette is tiny made for travel. Some compromises but I'm alright with that, especially when mobile.

For those who don't geek over art stuff, please skip to the next person's post~

The wells on the lower mixing area is divided into almost impractically small areas. How one uses their mixing space is completely subjective, of course, but given its difficult to reach position and how small the palette already is, I have a hard time believing people will prefer those 10 tiny wells over 5, or even three like the other side. It's also a bit difficult to clean and the dividers aren't exactly smooth (can't see it in the pictures but it is quite obvious when you feel it by hand. Brush hairs will easily catch on them and bend if you mix a bit too fast), so I really deal the ten mixing wells are there just to tick off a checkbox over actual function. Minor complaints aside, it is extremely well designed and I'd pretty much what I need. I decided to use the small wells as extra paint holders. This set now pretty much has everything I could possibly need, in a more compact format.

-----------------

Speaking of size...

The other thing that came with my package is a new paint brush.

6" hake brush has arrived!

Size does matter... *_*

image.jpg

Was wondering what size to get. 2 inches? 3 inches? Maybe 4?

Nah, go big or go home. \(>_<)/

Also wanted a fancy bamboo hake brush to really look like an Asian, like this one:

image.jpeg

But those are almost 8 times the price here in Canada and I can't find any that has a handle (those look awesome!), so I got the one that doesn't look Asian at all despite being the oriental equivalent of western flat wash brushes. :p

--------------------

My previous largest brush (1" wide) next to the new one.

Must. Resist. Black. Friday. Sales.

image.jpeg

Hopefully this will save me lots of time...

I had a rash issue last year and couldn't figure out what the hell it was, turned out it was the new laundry detergent I bought. I had never been allergic to anything in my life so that detergent can go straight to hell (my bottle did). So think about if you've changed soaps or anything lately? I know how it feels, your body gets mega unhappy when the skin needs healing all over.

Nice brushes! Maybe use the thumbnail's next time, those pictures are huge lol.

you're not supposed to actually paint on the wacom!!!! ^_^

what is the use of such a huge brush? this sort of work?

about rashes, a doc might be able to tell you if it's allergies or stress, or too much petting random animals on the street when they just escaped a military lab.

I've been suspecting the laundry detergent but I only had the rashes for two days so I was checking stuff off the list one by one.

Might be it. :frowning2:

Thanks for pointing out the size of the pictures! I was posting and viewing from my phone so I didn't realise they were taking up so much space, sorry... -_-;

Hey hey hey I paint where ever I want! If I wanna paint a cute loli trap on my wacom, I'll do it! > : D

If this does keep up and I can't find the source, then maybe I'll see a doctor. Just so darn busy now...

The brush is just a large way brush for covering the entire paper quickly. My previous brush still takes some time to cover the entire thing. This brush can do it in a stroke or two.

But I'm a potato.
