Say, any idea how much that laptop would usually cost?
 
It's currently just under 1000 usd on sale. Since I doubt I will get a Pascal refresh on sale, I'm considering just grabbing this laptop if the price increase can't justify the newer GPU/features.

Were you in the US? It's still up there for $750. Hmm normal price might be around the $1k or 1.1k mark for the 4k option. Is another 30-40% graphics power worth $350? eeehhhhhhhhh hard to say.

Nope, I'm in Canada, and I can't find a deal as good over here. ;~;
 
If the laptop ends up at 1000 usd with a 1050 and an i7, then maybe. But prices aren't that great despite being so close to the US.

Hahaha that's a great point. Well in that case, hopefully I can get better at tasting the differences but also not become such a snob that I have to drink myself out of house and home buying expensive alcohols all the time. :X

Just set yourself a reasonable budget. I set myself a limit of about 40 euros per month on whisky, which is more than enough. I usually buy about 40 euro bottles, a bottle a month is more than I drink anyway so my collection is continually expanding. In fact I won't be buying anything now unless I see a very good deal, because my liquor cabinet is getting rather full.

1. Chaos;Chield (Chaos;Head was crap but I'll give this a watch)
2. Fuuka (have been reading the manga)
3. KonoSuba S2 (yesssssssssssssssssssssssss)
4. Little Witch Academia (hella yeah)
5. Masamune Revenge (sounds interesting)
6. Seiren (I was a massive fan of Amagami SS and Hatsukoi Limited and of course Ichigo 100%)
7. Shouwa Rakugou S2 (even more awesome)
8. Youjo Senki (the image is weird but it seems very interesting. Especially as a top commander. Maybe some lelouch)
9. Hand Shakers (seems good with high production)
10. Kuzu no Honkai (I've been reading manga...and you guys are gonna flip if you hate NTR)
