Hm, just binged all of Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary). Thumbs up to KyoAni again.

Though I'm not sure about near the end. Things got a little rushed and fell apart. Lots of things weren't explained much and it just kind of turned into a hype driven series near the end.

Beautiful art though. Beginning through middle was fantastic imo.

Plastic memoires ended pretty well. Shame about that one arc that let everything down.

Bought some rose and ginseng oolong tea from work today.....$2.50 for one tea bag. T_T
I haven't had proper a proper ginseng product before, mostly in some crappy energy drinks, or rather a sip of them. It's not too bad! It's rather earthy-tasting though, as is the smell, similar to burdock root, so some people won't like that flavour.

I was going to mention that I don't know how many cups of tea it makes, but I peeled back the sticker and it just says "until it runs colorless." How specific! I have 3 cups made so far and it's pretty weak on this last one. I guess that's $0.83/cup. >.>

Why are all of the teas named with Kanji characters except for "herbal tea"? o.0
http://connacht.jp/
白茶 - white tea
錄茶 - green tea
花茶 - flavoured tea, literally flower tea
烏龍茶 - oolong tea
紅茶 - black tea, literally red tea
ハーブティー - herb tea; wat? the Kanji character for tea isn't even in this
黑茶 - pu'er tea, literally black tea

Noooooooooooo! :'(

That sucks. Reading that a 30 minute time slot is not enough is promising though.
So does this "special" they promised for this weekend.

Hooray for triple post.

Maybe ハーブティー refers to non-Asian style herbal teas?

Maybe ハーブティー refers to non-Asian style herbal teas?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_tea
Basically in the West, black tea = 紅茶 because the tea leaves are black
In the East, where the tea originated from obviously, "black tea" = 紅茶 (literally red tea) because the liquid is red, and is quite obviously so if you've ever seen it like in 99% of all Chinese restaurants

Apparently outside of the East, "red tea" is referred to rooibos, which also quite obviously has a red-coloured liquid but also red leaves. I had some rooibos burdock root tea the other day and it was very strong in the rooibos flavour. I dunno what the East calls this kind of tea if it isn't 紅茶. I wonder if rooibos is thus considered ハーブティー then if it's a non-Asian herbal tea.

Really well done indeed. Everyone sees the ending from the start, yet I couldn't stop the feels >.<

Today no new anime, and I still have Show by Rock and this poi to chase up, guess I shall prioritise the former :D
