Fahrenheit was nice up to the point where Mr. Cage started taking....well whatever makes you come up with silly schiit like this.

Exactly... I appreciate what he does since it's taken what Shenmue started and sort of ran with it, but I just wish he'd leave the writing to someone else. He's capable of setting up some really tense scenes (the diner scene in Indigo/Fahrenheit, the knife/glass/car chase/creepy basement doctor etc. in HR), but the day to day scenes, and dialogue ultimately fail. Strangely enough, I actually really enjoyed his Dark Sorcerer demo and thought it was pretty charming/funny.
Which is all the more bizarre when you consider that it was written and directed by Cage. I guess the supernatural hokum that's more or less become his calling card (obviously) comes across as less ridiculous when he displays some level of self awareness. It sort of makes me yearn for a title about some depressed, down on his luck actor so he can have his cake and eat it too. He can simultaneously touch upon the humor, the "EMOTION," and the What factor without the end product seeming incongruous. Something like "Lost in Translation" the game would be awesome. Actually, now that just makes me wish that Spike Jonze would direct a game for QD :l

Yep, I think it was numbered as 00 or something, which put it before the first episode in file order. I thought it was like how “Kyoukai no Kanata: Shinonome“ is a prequel special that was released after.
From what I know, it's been ongoing for a really long time, I believe, when finally animoo adaptation announced! Wow!
