Another great event! It was a real treat to get to listen to the Liquid Tungsten and to be able to compare the Ether vs Ether C. I think that they sound quite different and depending on the music I would prefer one over the other, but if I had to choose one my preference is the open-back Ether. Big thanks to the organizers and looking forward to the next event!

and the Tungsten is Magical + ETHER - Thats the combo we ended up with as our main reference when we set-up and showed the Tungsten (was helpin my Cavalli Fam w/ social and stuff then) at CanJam SoCal!! We ended up rockin' @Stillhart's R-2R /Ladder DAC with the LT and Amarra - man that was SCHWEET

I had such a good time talking to her and her husband - figuring out we knew each other on Twitter - but we actually got to meet in analog

I had a great time last weekend!  It was good seeing so many returning faces from the first event as well as new faces.  The gear was top notch this time with both the prototype Liquid Tungsten and prototype Ether E in attendance, as well as the new Questyle CMA600i (which is a sleeper hit right now IMO...fantastic unit!).  
 
The next event is going to be epic.  I can't say anything just yet about the new headphones, but if you are free, you're definitely going to want to show up.  We LA head-fi'ers are going to have an opportunity to be at a world premier and be the first to hear these things, thanks to @TSAVJason working his magic.  Non-LA folks are going to be seriously jelly when the embargo lifts.

If you're asking about THE Show this weekend, I'm not really sure.  I'll be there but I don't have any info on what to see.  The big reveal I was talking about, as Jason mentioned, is at the next event in the summer series at The Source.  June 18!

I'm assuming your curiosity is about the 6/16/16 reveal. If you are talking about THE Show Newport it is at the intersection of Jamboree & the 405 fwy in Irvine California. It does have a headgear show inside of that show. It's about 25-30% the size of CanJam SoCal so there is personal/portable audio section. This year The Source AV is doing all life style and personal audio rooms. Well we also have a traditional 2 channel room with Pearl Evolution Micro Ballerina US release. Rooms 1302-1304-1304A-456 & 421 we're showing a boat load of headgear. You'll only find one premier release at THE Show this year. That is in the Pearl Evolution room. Our Cavalli demos will be in the MrSpeakers booth in the main ballroom. You'll see the new Focal Sopra 3, 2 displays from The Source AV and another shown by the Canadian distributor.

It really will be top secret if the reveal is 6/16 but most are given the 6/18 date. Sort of like one of those secret handshakes. Best solution would be to camp outside starting the morning of 6/16. It is an early Black Friday release requiring a camp out.
