Has anyone tried using these on their Liquid Carbon?

I noticed the Matrix HPA-3B does to accept a non balanced source.

For what purpose would you use this with the LC?

I don't think the RCA in would work, as they are separately left and right channel inputs.  Aside from the RCA inputs, there is a 3.5mm unbalanced input that works equally as well as the RCA's.

What is the rated power output at 300 Ohms (balanced)?

Hello,

From the time i place my order for LIQUID CARBON 2.0 (i see that it's in final production run) in Cavalli Audio's web site, to the time they ship, is that typically in current run rate ~6 months lead time before i receive my unit?

You can purchase one now and receive it in a few days. We have them and Music To My Ear may have them.

You're going to need to send it in for warranty repair and you should still be under warranty, as the v2 hasn't been out for a year. Cavalli will switch over the balance of the warranty from the original owner.

In other news, my amp developed channel imbalance this morning. Not even a week after completing burn-in! I switched inputs and immediately heard a pop on the left side of my cans. Fortunately, the headphones are fine, but the amp is going to need a repair...not terribly over the moon about it.

Anyone else who has been down this road: am I going to need to burn-in again after repair? Not sure if they will need to replace the board.

Also, what's the turnaround time?

Anyone experience a difference in physical resistance when adjusting the volume pot from low volume to higher volume? Seems like my pot loosens up as it approaches higher volume and feels markedly tighter as it approaches zero volume.

Just received my unit back from an input switch repair, so making sure all is in order.

I just try turning mine and the resistance of the pot is pretty consistent from low to high. I tried it several times and didn't observe what you described.

How does it sound though?
