Looking for a Cheap Pair of In-Ear Headphones for around $20-$60

I've been looking at the Audio Technica Solid Bass series for a pair of headphones like this. I also have had a pair of JVC Xtreme Xplosives that were excellent for their $25 price tag. I want a pair with a lot of bass (Min frequencies of around 5 Hz) and decent clarity (not expecting too much...

Pink had some huge CIEMs last night at the Oscars...

Actually I thought they looked ludicrous and was ready to slam her for wearing them when it probably wasn't hard to hear herself over the orchestra - but then I saw Bette Midler sing with ONE CIEM in her ear, I figured she was cool.   With Pink's short hair it looked like she had antennae.

Driver size - is it matters ?

I would like to know if driver size of a dynamic IEM really matters, especially when we talk about sub bass response ?   Does bigger driver means better sub bass response ? Or, will it response better with EQ regarding to sub bass ?

Casting and Molding cIEM backups, replacements, etc from existing Etymotic cIEM?

Hi DIYers,   There are a bunch of threads about DIY custom IEMs, from the high tech to the basic "shove a cheap IEM into some Radian goo."  The latter I quite like but more for the security of the fit than any massive improvement in sound.   But the higher tech versions of taking an...

    New customs, some questions

Just got some new custom IEMS (my first) and noticed something rather odd. I've had to tune my source device, the Sansa Clip Zip to about 10 points more treble as the default untouched sound is muffled, almost muddy sounding.   I'm wondering if this could be fit related as it is hard or...

How to let others test custom IEMs

Hi guys,   So I'm sure this comes up quite often with at least some you. You get the latest and greatest custom IEMs and then brag around how good they sound, but because they're custom, noone else can fully experience the goodness of the sound. How do you let them test your custom IEMs (at...
