Pros: Tight punchy bass, all around exciting
Cons: Weight is almost an issue
Just got them yesterday and I have to say that these are what I've always imagined high end headphones to sound like. I'm very pleased with them so far. Thought the weight would be a problem but after 3 hours I wasn't fatigued at all. Don't get me wrong, you know they're there but not in a bad way. They actually "feel" like $2000 headphones.
Too early still to give an accurate sound description but ill say that the bass is the best I've heard. One of the few cans whose bass doesn't feel forced. It feels authentic and gives you an "in your face" experience.

I'm using a WA6SE with a sophia princess and a variety of tubes. My favorite tubes at the moment are the 6GL7/6EM7.

Everyone is saying the weight is a problem, but I've tried out the LCD-2's and it was perfectly fine.

Pros: Travel ready, will play through any source easily
Cons: Headband, lack of bass
Excellent set of closed cans and these would be my favorite if only they had a little more punch in the low end. Disappointing for me to hear mediocre bass. Especially in a set of closed cans.

The headband is very well made but made for looks and not comfort. There is almost no padding and the band is wide so it very uncomfortable. I've found that by moving the headband forward they become tolerable.

I have no heard the any of those headphones yet. However tube rolling did improve the bass by a considerable amount. I would not recomend the sig pros for a portable rig as they need a very good amp to get a good sound from them. If you'd like to trade for either three i'd be more than happy.

If you would like more bass and more overall authority from the Sig Pro, the kind folks at Moon Audio do a Sig Pro upgrade to soldered silver wire utilizing a furutech 4-pin balanced XLR connector. Total transformation of the headphones. Bass definitely got the boost it needed.

Pros: Comfort, huge soundstage, beautiful
Cons: Some say they're too bright
Wow,
By far my favorite headphone. Once you adapt to the s-logic your world will change. Vey difficult to listen to other headphones now. These are all character and style. Be careful though because they are very " in your face"

@Doberman Perhaps, but there's no denying the absolute beauty of Edition 10. Also, the replacement pads that Ultrasone now offers fixes most of the complaints many users had about the treble.

The only problem with the ed 10s is the price. Don't worry though, they are limited edition so you won't have to "not" buy them much longer

Pros: Good soundstage and mids
Cons: Lack of bass and veil
This was my favorite headphone for some time. Mainly because its the first decent pair I owned.
However as I listened to other cans these became less and less important. Now all I see when I look at them is a plain headphone with dull sound.

You don't actually need to compare these to more expensive headphones to give them 3/5 for audio quality or even lower. Just compare them to more natural/neutral sounding phones in their own class, like AKG or Beyerdynamic, and you will be amazed. After owning HD650 for 5 years I was still waiting for the string musicians in the symphony orchestra to take off the mutes of their instruments. Sorry, but this headphone is not adequate for all kinds of music. Classical and jazz lovers should definately look elsewhere.

Everyone has the sound that they are looking for in general and for specific genres. I would disagree that these are dull or not good all-rounders. Most people who think these are muted or veiled tend to like the phones with over emphasized treble as this give the impression of better detail. If you are looking for a warm, easy to listen to sound with good detail and treble, than these are fantastic. I listen to a lot of classical and jazz and I think these do a great job of giving natural weight to string instruments and a lushness to voices. Plus these scale wonderfully. I already enjoyed these with all genres with a Nuforce HDP, but once I heard them on a $3500 Ray Samuels Darkstar, I finally understood what these are really capable of. I felt like I was in the room with the jazz singer that was playing.

"Plain headphone with dull sound". That's just not a very fair review - it's at best an extreme simplification of what may or may not be a well-founded opinion.

Pros: S-logic, comfort and versatility
Cons: S-logic takes some getting used to
Great headphone. Took a while to get used to the s-logic but once I did it opened them up to surpass my hd650s. One of the top under $1000 headphones IMO.
