Op-Amp Adapter Help
I have a Pimeta and three opa627s that I would like to switch in. Unfortunately, they are the SO8 version (opa627au). So in order to use these opamps for OPALR, I need to get a SO8 to DIP adapter AND a single to dual opamp (so8 to so8) adapter. And for OPAG, just the former. EDIT: I just...- mr man

Dyeing headphone pads, particularly the senn 414 pads
I want to dye my senn pads black. Do I just go to Michael's and pick any black dye? Is there something I should look for in the name? Then I just follow the directions and I'll have black pads, right? Sorry for my ignorance, I have zero experience with arts and crafts.- mr man

Just left my cd player on pause for a day...
On accident, of course. Has something similar happened to anyone else? I'm curious as to whether doing something like this significantly decreases the lifespan of a cd player. It's a Tosh 3950, btw. Thanks.- mr man

which amp for ksc-35?
I'm looking at either the basic cmoy or the cha47. This will be my first amp so I want it to be easy. I've read that the cha47 works well for grados but those phones are 32 ohms while the ksc-35s are 60 ohms. Can anyone compare the two amps? p.s.
