the isolation on the denons is terrible. i managed to cajole the shure olives onto the denons but not without putting some scratches on the tip. how do the atrios compare to the triple fis ? i had the FS1 and liked them (except for the cheap plastic feel)

well, my denon 751Ks finally died. I'm looking at the Triple Fi 10, atrio M5 or the Shure 420. I like a little bump on the low end and the Triple Fis sound very attractive. But, I'm big on sound isolation and am a big fan of the Shure olives. I'm pretty sure the olives won't fit on the Triple...

i did the denon 751s with the shure MPA mic. I hated the shure 210s, but love the denons. If you don't go that route, consider the 5vis. That's the new model and seems to be a better implemented that the 4vi. finally, if you want, you can be the guinea pig on the new dual driver apple...

I got the Shure olives to fit on the Denon 751s today! I have the pics on my phone and will upload them later on. The fit and look great. Best of all, they're on tight, so no bass drop off.
