WOW just plugged my PC into my AV reciever <3
I sold the Asus Sound card in January as it played up every few weeks. It would dissapear in windows, the card would then need to be removed and would eventually install again if I moved PCI ports several times. I have now got a new mainboard and switched over to AMD, alas I now only have...- oxymoron08

WOW just plugged my PC into my AV reciever <3
ok the story... I sold my Asus Xonar D2 as it was buggy on win7 64bit. Been looking at headphone amps to improve my sound quality on PC, then started to read a post in this sub-forum that basically said that all a DAC is a box that processes the "1,0,1,0,1,0",well I stared at my AV reciever...- oxymoron08

Millett "Starving Student" hybrid amp
Hi guys, I have been reading up on the cmoy build, a few guys on recommended on another forum. I don't really wanna build a cmoy as I will have no use for it. I have never even held a soldering gun before, is this easy enough for someone who's most electrical experience is building his own...- oxymoron08

little dot products to UK people - u got stung with VAT/Customs?
Even if I stung on a £125 product, the total charge is likely to only be £30? Even at £155 its still cheap compared to anything in the UK.- oxymoron08

little dot products to UK people - u got stung with VAT/Customs?
Hi, Been speaking to David from little-tube.com about getting a Little Dot mark III shipped to England. Im basically worried I will get ripped off with VAT and customs. Beyer DT770 pro 80 ohms + CORDA ARIETTA or 2nd hand Corda Aria = win (for my budget)
Hi, Firstly The Arrietta is at the top of my budget. So does this amp pair well with the Beyer DT770 pro 80 ohms? There is an option to get a Corda Aria second hand, if its better than the Arrietta, it does have a DAC as well. Although I really cant afford to offer the chap the cash until...- oxymoron08

OTT mean Over The Top. I think the DT990 pro would be a good choice for me seems to have some bass & good quality sound. The DT9900 pro is between £80-£99. Its 250 ohms, so this seems like a really good first quality headphone. Will I need an amp?- oxymoron08
