Found Beyerdynamic DT990Pro headphones (250 Ohm) for £99. Are there any other versions of this headphones? I only ask as I cant understand why a shop is selling them £70 cheaper than anywhere else. Just wanna ask before I pull the trigger.

Theres no 600 ohm edition or whatever?

there are basically 3 versions of the dt-990 , the old model ( pre 2005 ), which was discontinued in 2005 and put in production with a different name ( dt990 pro ) and slightly different cosmetics...black cup holders, coiled cable, and then there is the 2005 edition which is available in 80/250/600ohm and costs a lot more....sound wise, differences are very slight, probably they share the same driver ( factory frequency response is stated the same )....so the 990 pros are quite a bargain...if you need an headphone and you think ou're going to like the beyer sound, buy them

Indeed, using serach button you will find out why I don't like the DT990 '05 and find the DT990 Pro's better.
