    koss ksc 75 vs. 35?

    I bought a pair of 75's and modded them with a sennheiser cable from the 580/600's, it fixed all the evils of the 75's for a reasonable price...I'm yet to find a can for under $100 that compares...imo...

    That's a personal issue...imo I love music and try to produce realism...the nuances. Cost is almost secondary...as long as my wallet can take it. I believe that the tweaks very often separate the ordinary from the extraordinary... It's worth the money, for me.

    I had a pair of AKG 701's modded by Moon-Audio. Drew set them up with a Black Dragon Cable...bypassing the headband trace AKG uses...He brought a wire to each driver as AKG should have. I was concerned about the weight of the cable making the cans seem heavy...but they seem more comfortable now...

    No, I tried them on an earlier MPX3 I had, but found I prefer the sound of the amp driven by 6SN7's. I'm actually shocked at the popularity of the Slam amps...it wasn't my cup of tea... But I appreciate your help in choosing a Singlepower...your guidance early-on was invaluable.
