My ability to afford such products also prohibits my ability to use them extensively. For the most part, I cannot tell the difference between my ESS, AKM, and cirrus products at all. My prediction is I’ll feel similar about the ROHM chip in the elite. Still, as far as build, the highest...- JrOcinthepark

Sorry, for the messy background. The legal profession is always a mess. Early impressions: relatively balanced sound with the bass I desired when I purchased the blessing 3. Using dsp cable. No issues with it. Will likely switch out spring tips as soon as I get home.- JrOcinthepark

Mine is arriving tomorrow! From what I’ve seen in the graphs, looks like it lacks the bass I require but excited nonetheless.- JrOcinthepark

Himalaya today. Decent. Impulse buy through Amazon for 400, the technical MSRP. I would recommend to anyone considering it spend $100 more for the timsok. However, build quality is very solid. Could see it being my edc for the foreseeable future due to that.- JrOcinthepark

Just saw this post for a second time. Got a good chuckle out of seeing a CCA/KZ product on top of your Chord DAC/Amp. I can only imagine the advertising if KZ released a dongle. “ same SNR AS 2,0000 DACs for only $15 dollars”- JrOcinthepark

I’ve seen the maestro mini back in stock at musictek and one other website I can’t think of off the top of my head. Maestro Mini is a great IEM that doesn’t get enough It is. I received the newer version approx 2 months ago. It’s strange how even with the absurd bass shelf the treble seems...- JrOcinthepark

Have both. I am loathe to describe differences but here it goes...... The Neo 5 is just "warmer" in general. The Doscino's bass has more impact and sounds almost more separated from the rest of the frequencies. Doscino sounds more detailed to my ears too. I prefer the Doscino. Personally, with...- JrOcinthepark

"Since I haven't heard anything in 500$ plus range (iems), I can only wonder, but that Trio is quite awesome indeed." (greymousetaxi). So you haven't tried anything out in the $500 plus range but are commenting about the Nio and Cascara. Don't worry, I won't call you a shill.- JrOcinthepark

Someone other than me bite the bullet and test this out. $400.00 is hype 4 territory/dusk 2 territory. If I order this now, the upside is I’ll get to enjoy it for six months before my April 2 dusk 2 order arrives.- JrOcinthepark

That is promising. As a non-android user, I don't think I'll have access to the Moondrop app which I've heard is terrible anyways. I'll brush the dust off the blessing 3 and test it.- JrOcinthepark

Preordered my Dusk 2 in an almost subconscious fashion. Before I could collect my thoughts Apple Pay was already activated. In the interim trying out a cheaper IEM, the Kefine Delci. Without getting into whether my cable is copper or vibranium, or the timbre, this set THUMPS for the $50-60 I...- JrOcinthepark

Anyone have an opinion on the Hisenior Mega5 EST? I’m aware it’s been out for a while. It’s been receiving very favorable reviews from more mainstream sources such as headphones.com. Looks like a pretty good value with the current sales at 400 and change.- JrOcinthepark

Cycled through some IEMs collecting dust last night. Now a days, Moondrop gets a decent amount of hate. I will also acknowledge that the Moondrop Variations, depending on the unit received, could have some...... variations in frequency response. Long story short, still find the Variations to be...- JrOcinthepark

I disagree. For the most part, headphone reviews are subjective. He attempts to measure based on whatever variation of harman he utilizes. Primarily, his review of DAC/AMPS are as solid as you can get. He provides accurate measurements without all the nonsense. Like many debates here, I...- JrOcinthepark
