    Same thing happened to me laat year. 100ohm set from japan. Sent them back to have both drivers replaced. About 1.2k with new pads thrown in. Quite a bummer. Is the cable that came with it blue?

    Yes they were. On its way for repairs now. Audeze did say the pair went in for works in 2017 so my guess is that would have been for a switch out to the 200ohms.

    Hmmm, this is the set i bought. If it is sensitive to air pressure changes, i guess the plane ride here killed the drivers as i got them dead. On its way to factory for new replacements.

    Neither had I b4 this. Honest about the exterior but no mention on no sound coming out. Guess the risk was always there. Too bad i could not get a new or warrantied set from where i am.

    Yes. Andrew from Audeze has been in touch. Shipping back for checks. Last in factory was in 2017 so perhaps the drivers may have given up. If so, its a steep cost.

    Picked up a 4 to add to my X on the used market. They came with no sound on both sides. Likely a hefty bill coming.
