Hi,
I am looking for a headphone amp, to potentially match with the Audeze LCD 4 phones. (i haven`t bought them yet).
My maximum price would be £1400, but preferably well under. Used is no problem. I have an Exposure 3010s2d main amp and a Rega ISIS CD Player. I have read that they need a good amp with plenty of power behind them.
Any input and advice is welcome.
Cheers.
You're welcome @wezzy. I can tell you from personal experience Audeze headphones seem to have an affinity for Questyle's offerings as well. If you're ever looking for a compact DAC/Amp the CMA Twelve Master is definitely worth taking a listen to.

For under £1400, I have to recommend Flux Lab Acoustics. The FA-12 is balanced, the FA-22 is balanced/single-end. Each are listed on the FLA website at $749 USD currently. I own the FA-22 and am as pleased as Punch with how it powers the Audeze LCD-4 and the LCD-X. Scroll through the “Flux Lab Acoustics FA-10, FA-10 Pro…” thread in the “Headphones (full size)” forum for lots of commentary on the FA-12 and FA-22.

Hi,
I went for the Burson Soloist 3X performance. It works really well with the Audeze LCD 4, plenty of class A power.
The volume dial goes up to 100 and i have only been up to 50 a couple of times, usually between 35-45, after that i think the ear drums would be in danger.
Cheers.
