Schiit Yggdrasil Impressions thread
You definitely don't "need" speaker amps to drive headphones, but I’m currently using Schiit Tyr monoblocks to drive my headphones and speakers with great results. The Zynsonix adapter box I use lets me switch between speaker and headphone output. It's also safer than just hooking up my...- EstrangedBaron

Holo Audio Red Streamer
Been happy with my Holo Red using Ropieee so far, no hiccups. But out of curiosity I wanted to try Red OS again, only to find out that it's really difficult to find the download for Red OS. And since I installed Ropieee on the SD card that came with the Red I had no other option than to search...- EstrangedBaron

Holo Audio Red Streamer
Got lucky and found a used Holo Red. First experience with it hasn’t been entirely seamless though. My use case is Red as a Roon endpoint using the USB out to my DAC. Unfortunately with RedOS I would get an intermittent crackle/pop sound. I tried a few things (turning off all other services...- EstrangedBaron

Thank you haha, I'm unsure which black box you're asking about but the little black box with a blue wheel attached to it is a broken extruder for my SV06+ 3D printer, idk why but I've kept it there kina as a decoration lol. The larger black box to the right of it is my Zynsonix speaker amp to...- EstrangedBaron

Yup, it's a 48 inch LG C2. I initially was considering the 42 inch, but the 48 went on sale and was a little less than the 42 when I bought it. It's large, but it's nice because it gives me the freedom to sit further away when playing a game with a controller or watching a show.- EstrangedBaron

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Thank you @wout31 for inspiring me to make my own remote holder. This was my first time 3D modeling in years so it was a fun refresher. If anyone is interested in printing it themself I have it available on Printables here. I may make more versions (like with different labels) in the future...- EstrangedBaron

HiFiMan Susvara
I use two schiit aegirs as monoblocks for my susvaras and they sound wonderful to me. I also used my Susvaras with just one aegir initially (I started with one and upgraded to a second later). Just the single Aegir was a step up from the Liquid Platinum and Jotunheim 2 I was using to drive the...- EstrangedBaron

At the moment I am primarily considering having a KG CFA 3 built. I tend to prefer a wider soundstage, deep but controlled bass, balanced mids, and highs that give me information without hurting my ears with sharpness lol. I feel like the CFA 3 will give me that signature with the Susvara, and...- EstrangedBaron

Great seller, very responsive and gave great insight about the headphones he was selling. The headphones came in pristine condition and were shipped quickly. You will be sure to have a great purchasing or selling experience with XGeneX88- EstrangedBaron

I've actually found myself in the same situation as well. Though this new tube input version of the CFA3 does sound like it could potentially be better than the 23r overall. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!- EstrangedBaron

New Member Introductions thread
Hello, been lurking around this forum for a while and never got a profile until now. I love headphones and the gear associated with them. Been in the game for a while now, and I’m starting to get settled in, but still looking at upgrades all the time lol. My current main setup is the ZMF Auteur...- EstrangedBaron
