i felt the akg k518dj has amazing bass, it really thumps me when i listen to some older linkin park or black eye peas songs too

btw does AKG sell the k518 earpads alone?

oic, i'm using foobar2000, and using the eq preset - drums, it sort of gives the bass abit more impact, and still retaining the clarity of the dt150

yup, try the AKG k518dj / k81dj, its very bassy, but much better sounding overall too....its cheap too!

are they uncomfortable to wear like the akg k81dj / k518dj, since they are also on-ear like it too, so is the sound also similiar to the d1001?
