Another vote for Grados here. I own both the SR225 and the HD580s, and I can say to me the Grados are much more fun and engaging, although the Senns offer a tad more detail.

My first steps at modding my SR225s (I'm not technical at all ) So far just removed the buttons and added silver polka dot socks. Next steps: new headband, and recabling (when I figure out how to )
