The discovery thread!
Went through the review, quite spot on based on my own experiences, especially with the notes on the Treble, although I didnt go that deep into detail with my notes.- cheewheol

Shuoer impressions thread
Initial impression of the Pro...Stock bass is sufficient for me (i dont like boomy bass), mids are clear and just slightly forward (its fine though). I kinda get the idea of a darkish background mentioned by others prior. For me personally, I feel the treble to be slightly lacking for my tastes...- cheewheol

AK audio had it for $490 after coupons...but damn i hate that store. Rather get it at $520 from Kbear store. Either way I didn't, cant afford a big purchase currently. And of course, more reviews would help, althought Chris's review pointed out that I may heavily favour the set- cheewheol

Blon in ear monitors impressions thread
some thoughts on the bl-01 vs bl-03 (at least the tuning i got): Bass definitely cleaner and not bleeding into the mids.Treble as a whole is good, but prefer the one on the 03. Instruments are pretty decent on the 01 and are slightly better than on the 03, stage on the 01 slighty more expansive...- cheewheol

I have bad experience with them too..thats why even though their prices are better, I just pay a little more for other stores. Thats even before covid btw..almost a year back- cheewheol

SE530/535 Acoustic Filter Mod: More SQ improvement than cables? Dampers!
If u like boomy sound...probably those with higher resistance. If you like clarity, then edge towards those with lower resistances..i settled on white after testing the entire range.Only you know what you like, what i can tell you is, everything is better than stock for sure. As for cable..stock...- cheewheol

TRI earphone impressions - I4 and I3, Starlight, NEW Starsea
OOF, wanted to get the Tri starlight. Based off ChrisOC's review (which seems to be the only one)..seems like my thing (since I love details, vocals and do classica musicl as well). Regardless, even at $520 on 11.11 it was too huge a gamble to go blind..I guess i will just wait it out, or until...- cheewheol

Why high end headphones (and IEMs) are (mostly) hype.
Agree with OP, I want a brand that is reliable. Thereafter, I will let my ears be the judge.- cheewheol

ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs
mines serial 82...not much diff between 3k and 4k. Played 4k and 4.5k using an app to measure approx 5db diff, so I prob got a set nearer to the red line. Bass on mine is what i describe as clean? u can feel the displacement of air from the DD too. Light and punchy.- cheewheol

ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs
Yea I love my blons, very 'musical'. Only d**n complain is how the it sounds a tad muddy, otherwise it's really nice. Oh, and the fit too, it sits well, but not firmly..- cheewheol

ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs
This is very close to what I felt about the L3 but was unable to put into words, nice! It's true, even the well recorded tracks off youtube sound better on this set and the poorly recorded become barely enjoyable.worth the trade off though! just have to have seperate playlists..- cheewheol

ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs
For me, I am using KZ starlines, universal but custom-like fit. The bass i would describe as, clean, light, punchy. I can feel the slight displacement of air from the DD, not much of a basshead so YMMV.- cheewheol

URBANFUN YBF-ISS014 Impressions thread
FYI i got my YBFs after 1.5 mths, the problem was my country's postal facility was closed for 2 days due to quarantine, then the shipment got bounced. They sent it again, this time it was stuck in hong kong for awhile. Apparently on may 4th, HK restricted Airmail, apart from sea and air express...- cheewheol
