Are there any adapters that would work?

My OG R5 has finally developed an issue-the 3.5 mm jack is wearing out and at times the sound comes and goes in one channel. Looked inside and appears replacing it is beyond my skill level. I'm considering using a 4.4 mm to 3.5 mm adapter but wonder if that will work with unbalanced 3.5 mm IEMs...

Why would anyone wish for a class A amplifier stage in a DAP? Want it to heat up your pocket and drain your battery really fast?

It wouldn't open on one of my phones initially but a few days later and after a restart it did. Now it doesn't again. It does work on another phone and a Samsung tablet. What is the problem I wonder? edit-and I have the pro version and it is set to auto-update.

If we're still talking about the R5 I have replaced the battery with one from Aliexpress for about $10. Took all of 5 minutes to replace it. Not dangerous, nor difficult. If one can get the back off,pull the battery out (the battery is adhesed but can be pried out)-unplug the battery wire and...

UAPP has an equalizer if you're still using that.

no clue. do u know how to find storage? I'm familiar with Android systems where one can go to the "about" section. The "about" section on this iPod isn't exactly forthcoming. Would the serial # help?

I typically have the D70 and the D90SE RCA+XLR and don't notice any degradation when using both together vs either RCA or XLR alone.

Do you mean for SE and balanced? If so, yes there is no power difference between the two. From ASR review: "There are dual headphone output jacks but they both have same power."

How does one turn usb power off?

Couldn't find the English version of AE so found it on eBay. It is much cheaper on AE if you can log onto the site. Simply type Hiby R5 replacement battery and this one will show up. I believe I pain around $12 for it.

I just ordered a cheap battery off AliExpress and took 10 minutes to install it. Easy peasy.

Prior to the the latest update the volume wouldn't "remember" volume settings l based on line out vs phone out. Blew my eardrums out when thinking volume on phone out was in the 60's but was actually at 100. Ouch. The most recent update fixed that.

On second thought I may have been thinking about Viola Davis...
