    Audeze SINE Series

The Anker Lightning-USB C audio adapter (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-USB-C-Lightning-Audio-Adapter/dp/B07R6MKJZH) works perfectly with the sine. I’ve been using it with my iPad Pro for months and it’s been flawless.

    Audeze SINE Series

Update on my exploration into pad swapping. Returned the Audioquest pads. The mod suggested would have required me to cut a plastic supporting ring and compress it into a custom adapter ring before supergluing together to hold (and hopefully not gluing them to my headphones). If I messed it up...

    Audeze SINE Series

Do you mean the plastic ring that comes with the Audioquest pads? From your photo, it looks like you made a cut in the plastic ring, fit it into the existing ear pad slot on the Sines, and then put the pads over top. Is this correct? I just received my Audioquest pads and want to make sure I’m...

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread

Could it be a difference in Bluetooth audio codecs between the iPhone and Android? I’ve read that the H9i has difficulty sticking to AAC and often defaults back to SBC. Dunno... just a thought.

Is the Oppo PM3 worth buying if I already own the Bang & Olufsen H6?

I think you definitely should get the PM-3s. Definitely worth having both. On a completely unrelated note, want to buy my pair of PM-3s?

    Audeze SINE Series

I didn’t get a chance to do the comparison - B&O has discontinued the H6 so I couldn’t audition a pair in-store. I’m debating making use of Amazon’s generous return policy to audition a pair... but I’ve heard horror stories of people getting locked out of Amazon for such behavior.

    Audeze SINE Series

Just wanted to chime in that I bought a pair of Sines 3 weeks ago, which I’ve been listening to since, and I’m truly smitten with these headphones. The sound is deep, wide, balanced, and has some very nice and present bass. They’re definitely not bass heavy, but I’m not finding it lacking (as a...

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread

Thanks. That description of the H9i makes perfect sense. I get it now. The tech was pretty swank. The X00 sounds incredible from the reviews... also appears to be very difficult to get until some possible future Massdrop. I’ve been a fan of IEMs for a long time (most recently with a splurge...

    Audeze SINE Series

Hi all, I just bought a pair of Sines and I’m quite happy with the purchase, especially after some critical comparisons with some other cans. So far I’ve auditioned them against the Oppo PM-3 and found them to be significantly more open on the top end, but not nearly as comfortable. The...

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread

Fair enough. In a separate thread I was asking for alternatives to the Sine that I could audition and the most suggested can was the H6. Given that B&O has discontinued the H6 I figured I’d give the H9i a try, given many of the reviews I’ve read put the sound of the H9i very close to the H6...

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread

I disagree. I’m in the market for “headphones”, looking for clear, quick, and comfortable cans for around $500. The H9i, while wireless and with ANC, fits that bill. I’m agnostic to the wired/wireless part as long as the acoustics and fit were good, which they are. Just wanted to add some...

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread

For anyone who’s interested in the comparison, I just bought a pair of H9i’s to compare with my Audeze Sine (looking for more comfort and bass slam)... for what it’s worth I preferred the Sine. I found the ear pressure, due apparently to both the ANC and something about the bass, uncomfortable...

    Audeze Sine Competitors

Bought a pair of H9i’s and compared with the Sine... for what it’s worth I preferred the Sine. I found the ear pressure, due apparently to both the ANC and something about the bass, uncomfortable. The bass was definitely present on the H9i but it didn’t have much more slam than the Sine. The...

    Audeze Sine Competitors

Just went to listen to the H6 this morning, but the B&O shop said the H6 & H7 have been discontinued (although I can obviously still buy them from Amazon or elsewhere) and replaced by the H9i. Listened to the H9i, instead and was quite impressed. Any thoughts on the comparison between the H6...

Longtime listener, first time caller. :) I’m in the market for a set of closed over/on-ear cans (prefer over for comfort) with a budget maxing out at $500. I’m primarily looking for clarity, speed, and comfort for long listening sessions. My music tastes range from jazz to pop to rock to a...
