Hey I’m choosing between the TH-X00 Mahagony and the Meze 99 Classics. Which would be better for bass, vocals and trebles? Which would have better imaging. Also I wouldn’t be using an amp. I would mostly use them to play video games, watch YouTube videos and listen to Hamilton.

Try getting the Dekoni earpads if you want to completely replicate the sound of the original pads

Did they tame the bass?

Yeah theyŕe meant for the m50x. If you want a tamed bass, increased treble and something super similar to the original earpads those are the ones youŕe looking for. Another guy a few pages back has tested 23 other earpads and was raving about the Dekonis, so if you wanna see some descriptions...

Yeah you should def consider the Meze 99 classics. However when visiting the stores where you sampled it did they have the larger or smaller earpads?

Just to clarify are these the original smaller pads or the newer larger ones that ship with the latest edition.

Hey I'm thinking of getting some pads since I've heard the new ones really increase the bass and decrease the mids. What pads would you recommend that are most similar to the old pads while taming the bass and increasing mids and trebles.
