Dynamic driver/Hybrid IEM & CIEMs with very good isolation
I've come to realise I love the visceral experience of DD bass but most DD IEMs lack isolation. The majority of my listening is on the tube/train/subway or travelling on a plane, so it needs to be good enough to block out those types of noise without the need for me to wack up the sound (thereby...- nabeelkhan

Periodic Audio IEMs Mg, Ti, Be, C
Hi guys, wishing for a little more isolation on my Be's. I'm on the tube a lot and don't like listening to music very loud. Tried the original foams, JVC spiral dots, whirlwind tips, mee audio triple flange, and symbios. I'd be a very happy man if you could get this doing signature in custom form.- nabeelkhan

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
Good post, it's not unique to the Head-Fi. People get heated over something that in the grand scheme of life is NOT important. This is a hobby, a luxury pursuit, we aren't doing important world changing disease work here. As long as someone is respectful to you, no one should be butt hurt by...- nabeelkhan

Periodic Audio IEMs Mg, Ti, Be, C
They seem to be much more expensive than US prices i.e. the Ti is USD 199, which equates to GBP 156 @ todays spot rate. Understand you have to include a markup for shipping, profit et al, but thats a 21% markup on US prices?- nabeelkhan

The discovery thread!
If there is a change in sound in a headphone or IEM it should be measurable and quantifiable. I'm all for people spending money the way they want. But we should also as a community and consumers suppose try to figure out what the industry is trying to sell us and where the truth actually...- nabeelkhan

IEM Money Saving Tips
I have definitely returned IEMs and Headphones to Amazon, and headphones to hifiheadphones. I have always sanitised tips or bought new tips off amazon and included them into the returns. Had no issues.- nabeelkhan

IEM Money Saving Tips
So I'm a member of two communities (1) the headphone/IEM community and (2) the Fragrance Community (see basenotes.com). In both communities I notice a trend of blind buying and collecting more than needed. I believe everyone is allowed to do what they want with their money. But I do often...- nabeelkhan

Take the memory foam out of Symbios add them to spinfits. I'm really liking this combo of tips on the periodic audio. Gives you a little bit more isolation- nabeelkhan

Westone W40 more bass than W30?
Tips make a massive difference. If they don't sit well within your ear the bass can be killed. Play around with all the tips till you get a comfortable and secure fit- nabeelkhan

Westone W40 more bass than W30?
I don't have personal experience with Westone apart from the W80 at an exhibition. Have you tried all the included tips? Getting a good seal can make a huge difference in terms of bass impact. I believe they are BA drivers? Personally I find you can feel the bass better with dynamic drivers.- nabeelkhan

Looking for (probably) basshead over ear (portable-ish)wireless headphones with decent battery life
You could always order a few from Amazon and then return within 30 days. They have an excellent return policy (as long as you don't damage the box or similar). I think in your price range you may be limited but you could look at Amazon warehouse deals for slightly used models which could open up...- nabeelkhan

Looking for (probably) basshead over ear (portable-ish)wireless headphones with decent battery life
No worries, I'm not an expert either. The backbeats mentioned above are decent another headphone in your price range is the AKG Y50, tried them out briefly seemed decent enough- nabeelkhan

Sony XBA-N3AP and XBA-N1AP — Impressions thread
Wonder why the N3 doesn't get any love on head-fi (apart from this thread). Barely see it recommended as an IEM in suggestions threads. However from reviews elsewhere it appears it's quite well priced for a midfi IEM that offers good sound quality. Would this be comparable to a Westone W30 or...- nabeelkhan

Haha, yeah you guys are pretty decent, I have used you guys several times (bought my ONP, Etymotic, and RHA from you) :) .
