Yet Another Worthless New Ipod Feature
The general population loves drinking the apple koolaid, so of course they'll sell a zillion of these. I was hoping for some cool new ipod touch features to compete with the zune HD... oh well.- TedwardRoberts

Zune HD will have EQ!
The rumored prices are pretty appealing to me... I've been a zune fan since the beginning, and if they would just add freaking mac support, this would be a must.- TedwardRoberts

Rate the video games you're currently playing
Fallout 3 - 10/10. I'm not going to lie, this game is depressing, especially at high difficulties. It really puts you into the setting in the fact that you can't find money, ammo, medicine etc unless you really go scrounging, and in the beginning, the badies really kick your ass. This is the...- TedwardRoberts

Accountants, does it really matter what school you graduate from?
Accounting, being a business field, is definitely subject to the prestige factor. The better your business school, the better off you'll be. However, I'll say two things: 1.) The best business schools are the best because they get you involved, in the door, and allow you to network your butt...- TedwardRoberts

I absolutely love the design of this thing. It's probably between this and the Zune HD for my next DAP.- TedwardRoberts

Those look great, and I bet they taste great too... That said, I never understood high-end culinary presentation. I want my food to look like this: Yumyum :P- TedwardRoberts

Has anyone tried the Bose On-Ear?
I tried them and they are okay, but not good for the price IMO. They are pretty comfy tho (memory foam, so I hear)- TedwardRoberts

Photography Enthusiasts : RAW vs JPG?
RAW really lets you get the image the way you originally intended it to be, via post-processing. There's not much in a RAW image you can't change. If your images are turning out great, and you like them, I don't see a need to use RAW, other than to experiment. SOME photogs consider RAW to be...- TedwardRoberts

The "WINDOWS 7 IS FREAKING AWESOME!" thread.
I really like 7, but from a technical standpoint, I feel it's kinda obtuse. Also, widgets or gadgets or whatever they call them are fairly annoying to write when you compare them with systems like konfabulator or the OS X dock, but that's just my humble opinion. It's really great how much...- TedwardRoberts

Amp Issue Involving -=Germania=-
Though I'm a relative noob, I've kinda lost some respect for Germania over this. She's been throwing out a lot of excuses. I guess all that matters is that I now know should I decide to do business on this board that I need to look out for myself no matter who is selling/buying. Anyway...- TedwardRoberts

Tile cutter
For tile, I've always used water saws for everything except for some very rare cuts. Something like this... I haven't owned one, but usually big home improvement stores rent ones like this: DEWALT at Lowe's: 10" Wet Tile Saw- TedwardRoberts

Suggestions for portable cans that aren't IEMs or buds
Note: if you don't care about my ear wax issues, skip to the cliffs! I recently procured a set of Etymotic HF5s as a gift for my birthday. I absolutely LOVE the detail, and I only like my Alessandro MS1 slightly more because they seem to play nice with Rock/Alternative much more. That...- TedwardRoberts

United Breaks Guitars
When I watched this video earlier in the week, it had 300 some-odd views on youtube... it now has over 1.2 million, IIRC... that's pretty ridiculous. Apparently United has offered to pay him for the guitar, but he says that's not good enough, and mentions something about donating that money...- TedwardRoberts

Recession making it hard to sell?
It's definitely taking longer to make a deal, yep. There are a few things that I have tried to sell via craigslist, and I've only received offers more than $100 below my asking price (on a $150 item!)... so I'm having a hard time.- TedwardRoberts

IEMs and tragus piercings
I have a tragus piercing (my only one) and currently use Ety hf5s upside down without a problem w/ good seal. There's only an issue when they're right side up, because the cable gets tangled in my ring sometimes. Buds, on the other hand, are next to impossible. I would imagine there's a...- TedwardRoberts

iPod Classic - still worthwhile?
I don't see why it wouldn't be viable... sure, there are other options, but if you buy an older iPod, you might not get a warranty, and the shear number of accessories for the iPod is really nice. Plus, nothing integrates quite as well with my mac as my iPod does.- TedwardRoberts

Etymotic HF2 / HF5 Appreciation Thread
Love my HF5.. only thing I'm upset about is that one of the included foam tips got stuck in my ear, and if I use the tri-flanges, they get clogged up VERY fast with ear wax (my ears produce huge amounts, for some reason). regarding that, I'm currently looking for suggestions for tips...- TedwardRoberts
