SONY IER-Z1R
I actually like them more than the Xelento especially how the upper mids are presented but in terms of technical performance I don't think the Xelento is a slouch.- marcussmj

Rather than actually asking the right questions these people just try to go straight for your jugular. Expected behaviour tbh. I agree with your assessment and these are genuine concerns that you have repeatedly pointed out yet the denial is strong here.- marcussmj

SONY IER-Z1R
Using it with my RME as a desktop setup just to see how good it sounds, must say it does sound pretty good overall but definitely not the best pairing.- marcussmj

Focal Utopia General Discussion
You are aware of the inequalities present but what are you guys actually doing about it? For example, in Malaysia, the warranty is only a year while Singapore has 2 years yet when we compare the prices it actually cost more to buy from a local dealer. The "customer service and support" are not...- marcussmj

The variation is not surprising but for 1.5k you would expect a good level of QC won't you? The problem is now we don't know which unit is representative of the Solaris due to said variances, that is the main issue.- marcussmj

You don't get the point, it's not about accuracy it's about consistency. You can argue about rigs but that's irrelevant here.- marcussmj

Heard 3 LCD-4's myself, all sounded different and I only kinda liked 1 of them but not enough to say it is good. Some kilobuck iem's were better than the other 2 which was a damn shame. Also to add a little bit, did you just imply higher $ = higher performance?- marcussmj
