Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
I am still loving my Aurisonics ASG 2.5. I did just but a pair of the Fender FXA11 and am hoping the big DD, along with the rest of the sound does not disappoint.- sweetbabala

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
I would agree the cable is high quality. I bought one for my Aurisonics ASG2.5 but, while it was clearly very well built, it was simply too stiff for regular, comfortable use and I ended up selling it. The Reference 8 and Whiplash cables are two of my favorites for combing quality and comfort. Ryan- sweetbabala

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Would anyone who has heard both the Hyla CE-5 and Aurisonics ASG 2.5 be able to comment on their respective quality/quantity of bass, and overall sound quality? I have the latter and am interested in the Hyla, but only if there is a clear step up. Thank you, Ryan- sweetbabala

King of Bass IEM
I have the Aurisonics ASG 2.5 and 2.2. They both have very good bass, but the 2.5 has the biggest/deepest I have heard. The Rose Cappuccino MKII also have really nice, but maybe a bit better controlled, bass. There is a thread devoted to basshead IEMs elsewhere in this forum. Ryan- sweetbabala

Shigzeo's decades-late Minidisc review thread
Very to sorry to hear about your situation. Thank you for posting your video, though. I actually checked eBay for this item and saw the listing, among other MD items of his, but see that it has since been ended by the seller. Interesting...By the way, I still use my MZ-RH910 and MZ-NH1...- sweetbabala

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
I had an authentic pair of the bronze 846 and they had a three-digit number next to each nozzle. They are very small and difficult to photograph, but I believe all genuine pairs have them engraved. Attached is a pic from one of mine: Hope this helps, Ryan- sweetbabala

FiiO X5 2nd gen Impressions and Discussion thread
Thank you, guys, very much for your help. I converted the files to flac, reformatted my card and reloaded the offending tracks. They now work perfectly and I will see about converting and reloading the rest of my library. I don't know what the problem was, but at least I now know how to fix it...- sweetbabala

FiiO X5 2nd gen Impressions and Discussion thread
Thank you for the reply. I am only using one, not even close to full, 32gb SD card as my library isn't all that big. As soon as I try to scan the files of the one card, the unit totally freezes. I have no idea what the problem is because the same tracks play just fine on my iPod and minidisc.- sweetbabala

FiiO X5 2nd gen Impressions and Discussion thread
I am hoping someone can help me with this very recent problem with my X5ii. I bought a few tracks of Type O Negative and Thin Lizzy from iTunes (.m4a), like I have a hundred times before, for my iPod and then dragged the new tracks to my X5ii, also like I have many times before. For some reason...- sweetbabala

Looking for help finding a new DAP.
Hello. I have been using a Fiio X5ii for a couple of years now and am looking to upgrade. I think it is a great player and have been very pleased with it but want to try something higher up the food chain. I am primarily interested in sound quality and am not terribly interested in streaming or...- sweetbabala

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
As this thread is several years old, I would like to ask where the Aurisonics ASG 2.0/2.5 would rank in today's lists? Seeing as they were included in multiple lists early on, do they still stand up, not just in bass, but in overall sound quality against newer bass-heavy IEMs? I own both, along...- sweetbabala

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
I have been listening to my 846s for almost two years, and still love them. Overall, they have the most pleasing sound to me, for most types of music, of all the models I have tried. However, I understand exactly what you are saying about the bass impact. When I am in the mood for a more...- sweetbabala

JH Audio Rosie Impressions Thread
For my own clarification, as I have been looking at a pair of these for possible purchase, did the Rosie start out as a 6BA, and was then upgraded to 8 later on, or did they always have 8 and there was some kind of miscommunication? I have not heard either, but wouldn't 8BA Rosie be basically...- sweetbabala

Rose Technology Discussion & Impressions Thread
I have had the blue Rose Cappuccino MKII for approximately 18 months. I regularly use them at least twice a week and they still look and perform like new. They have big, deep and clear bass, without overpowering the mids or clear highs. For me, these have been one of my best IEM purchases...- sweetbabala

Westone W60 Impressions Thread
I bought a pair of the black plates and think they are great; well worth the price. They not only look great, but I think are simply more sturdy than the originals (both of my original gray plates cracked over time). I am careful with my IEMs, but I am sure time will tell. If they also came in...- sweetbabala

Hello.
