i agree here too, i like what i heard and saw.. even with some of the QC issues its still a good turntable.. with the improvements that will be coming it will be far better than expected. i like the Sol, i am glad i got one. Hats off to the Schiit company for doing right to their customers!

Question, i have a Valhalla 2 and Sennheiser HD650, i use a 6cg7 tube. i see that some are running 6sn7 in that unit. but a 6cg7 is the same equivalent to a 6sn7, why do you guys run that tube over a 6cg7, is it worth it. thanks for any and all replies. Greg

I have at the Cambridge Audio CXC Transport, sound great, looks good. Most of the reports I've seen on this player have been outstanding, i was really taken how great this Transport makes the cd i own sound this good thru my Gumby, i have never heard it better.

Do we yet know the size of cd transport from Schiit.

to answer your question, yes they do.. the sonic stabilizer work with with Herbie`s Tenderfeet, there are four of those under the Freya and under the Bifrost. i have use these with great effect on previous tube and SS gear. i won't listen to my gear without them. the tube dampers are a blessing...

sorry about that, my room at the moment is a mess, serves as a drum room too, drum crap everywhere. but back to you question, a turntable and on the other rack my computer and monitor. the round things are Herbie`s sonic stabilizers and yes those are Herbie`s tube dampers on the 6ns7`s.

i know i said this a few post ago, but i am going back to my original plan and get Two Vida's to run them vertical Bi-amp on my Vandersteen, i run Two Emotiva XPA-2 on them now.

Thank you Todd for lending me the USB Disruptor to use. I wanted to see if the USB Disruptor would improve the Sonore MicroRendu in any way, it did to a small degree, it wasn't enough of an improvement to use it that way. So i tried it with out the MicroRendu and use this straight to the Schiit...

the oversight is on the owner of the Ragnarok ..NOT FROM SCHIIT..they knew at the time of purchase it didn't come with a remote.

I been running the Freya in Jfet mode  shortly after i got it sounds very good that in my system, i didn't like having the tubes on while playing the Freya in Jfet mode. So today i removed the tubes and fired her back up with out them, i believe this Freya sounds even better with out the tube...

it was Jason that said you can't use a speaker with a ( sub + sat )common ground setup with the Ragnarok, it`s protection will shut it down after while.
