So Sennheiser finally responded to me saying they will be shipping the US preorders out by the 7th. (I ordered on the 24th) I dont understand why they couldn't just say this publicly with an email.

Ive had the same experience. I guess its also highly dependant of your source if you will end up using the white filters or not. Black or no filters work for me because I use a Mimby/Jotunheim combo which is pretty warm for already slightly warm sounding headphones.

To my ears the black filters bring out the bass

I have both the LCD-2C and Aeon Flow Opens coming in next week. Ill be testing both to see which one ill end up returning and keeping. I'll be sure to leave my impressions here if anyones interested.

I changed sources and it seems to have fixed a lot of the sibilance but I might end up still getting some new tips once I find the right ones.
