The New HD 560S: Linear Acoustics at a Breakthrough Value
So I used Equalizer APO on Windows to tone down the 7k peak by -3 db for just general music listening. This cuts off some of the analytical edge and results in a very pleasing sound for longer sessions, especially if you are running an amp. Give it a try. If you downloading this program for the...- Myk28

The New HD 560S: Linear Acoustics at a Breakthrough Value
Anyone got a link to a good replacement cable for these? They actually power pretty well off of my Note9 so the convenience of a shorter cable would be nice.Thanks- Myk28

The New HD 560S: Linear Acoustics at a Breakthrough Value
Nice write up! One thing - the cable actually is detachable, you have to twist to unlock it. The length was my only gripe though. Its not even a high quality cable so idk why they couldnt just throw in a smaller one too. That and I wish the headband was metal because its easier to bend and...- Myk28

The New HD 560S: Linear Acoustics at a Breakthrough Value
Okay so I am a couple hours in and these are sooo worth the $199 asking price. I personally prefer these over both the 600 and 650 already for my tastes. So far the 560S are one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned, seriously. Light as a feather and I enjoy the depth and shape of...- Myk28

Same here! Got the backorder email and then they told me they will be shipped out on the 16th, hopefully this is the last delay. (Was originally the 7th last time I asked) Regardless, Sennheiser is going to make a killing off these for sure- Myk28

So Sennheiser finally responded to me saying they will be shipping the US preorders out by the 7th. (I ordered on the 24th) I dont understand why they couldn't just say this publicly with an email.- Myk28

Yeah I have to agree with Venture Guy these NEED time for burn in. They sound so good after a few days of owning them. Has anyone experimented pad rolling with these? Wonder how ZMF, Brainwavz, Denoki pads would fair- Myk28

Campfire Audio Polaris - New CA IEM
Oh okay great. I would say I have normal sized ears so I should be fine? Would you say these are good for electronic music? Some examples of music I listen to are Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Mogwai.- Myk28

MrSpeakers AEON Flow Open - Impressions Thread
Ive had the same experience. I guess its also highly dependant of your source if you will end up using the white filters or not. Black or no filters work for me because I use a Mimby/Jotunheim combo which is pretty warm for already slightly warm sounding headphones.- Myk28

Punk rock for audiophiles? Does it exist?
Seconded. I'd also recommend These Arms Are Snakes, The Jesus Lizard, and The Stooges.
