Focal Clear headphones
Not the best unfortunately, they did still sound quite nice but will be shipped back to the dealer tomorrow. I must have terrible luck, I also bought a pair of Mrspeakers Aeon Flow Opens last week which had a driver imbalance which also had to be sent back. 2 new pairs of headphones, can't use...- maximal112

Focal Clear headphones
I will try that, thank you. Sounds like it's coming from inside the unit somewhere though. Like a loose screw or other piece rattling around inside- maximal112

Focal Clear headphones
So I just received my new pair of focal clears and opened them up. When I picked them up I noticed a rattling sound coming from the left hand side. I can only assume this is not a good thing and something has come loose inside?- maximal112

Yea done a quick search found few others mentioning the issue as well. Got my wife to listen and she could notice it too. Bit of a bummer, will be contacting the shop in the morning to organise a return.- maximal112

MrSpeakers AEON Flow Open - Impressions Thread
Quick question, just got home with my new AFO's. Has there been any issues with driver imbalance? My left seems to be noticeably quieter than the right side... I've plugged my PM 3's into the mojo at the same time and am not noticing the same problem with them as the AFO's, so it's not a source...- maximal112

Thanks for the detailed response. Hugo TT is a great Christmas present to get. What Dac were you using with the Gilmore lite before you sold it? I had a Schiit Gumby which I sold because I was trying to downsize a bit. I was happy with it, but never really had anything to compare it with either...- maximal112

MrSpeakers AEON Flow Open - Impressions Thread
Thank you very much for your detailed response, it's very helpful. The Gilmore lite is definitely very appealing and I've heard many good things about it. The Lyr 3 has been mentioned in this thread a few times as a good match which is why I was looking at it too, and being able to play around...- maximal112

MrSpeakers AEON Flow Open - Impressions Thread
After reading through everyone's impressions here decided to pull the trigger on a pair of AFO today. Never had the chance to hear them so I'm pretty excited to see how they sound, should get tomorrow or Friday. Going to be using with my Mojo for now and tossing up between a Lyr 3 and the...- maximal112

MrSpeakers ETHER Flow and ETHER C Flow -- Inspired by Electrostatic Headphones
Thanks. I used to own a gumby and KGST/007 so looking to downsize a little bit and get something slightly more portable than the stax so I can at least use in other rooms in the house with the Mojo. So probably not looking at any of the bigger stuff but have been looking into the modi and the...- maximal112

MrSpeakers ETHER Flow and ETHER C Flow -- Inspired by Electrostatic Headphones
Thank you for your response. I have heard good things about the Schiit Lyr. I know it has the option to come with the DAC module as well, would you recommend that or would I be better off getting a separate unit? From what I've found seems like the DAC section of the Lyr and Jotunheim may not be...- maximal112

MrSpeakers ETHER Flow and ETHER C Flow -- Inspired by Electrostatic Headphones
Hi everyone I'm looking at ordering a pair of Ether C Flows soon a had a few quick questions. I'm assuming all new Ethers now come as 1.1 standard, no need to buy the tuning kit separately? I currently have a chord Mojo but am looking at buying a desktop solution as well. Currently been...- maximal112

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Just a quick question for anyone who might know or have some suggestions. I currently have a set of K10's which I absolutely love but sometimes I get interrupted a lot and it gets annoying having to pull them out of my ears frequently. I know a universal would probably help with this issue a bit...- maximal112

If you're interested in trying out the L500's to get your feet wet so to speak and try out Stax, I will be selling mine along with the matching amp SRM 353x. Which when I started I also had paired with a mojo. Only selling as I have upgraded to a KGST and finally received my 007s yesterday as...- maximal112

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Yea that was pretty much my thinking but thought others might have done so successfully, I think I'd be too worried about damaging too. I've already got some cheap sony ones that I've been using, no need for wireless ones, cable never caused me any issues Thanks everyone for your replies- maximal112

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
The amp in the Mojo will power any IEM with ease. It can power many full size headphones with no issues so I can't imagine you'd ever see any issues with an IEM. As for recommendations I think that entirely depends on your budget but whatever you choose will pair nicely with the Mojo, I...- maximal112
