    Burwen Bobcat USB DAC system?

Yeah, I wonder how good the USB DAC is. It's a good sign that a 'high-end' company is making some PC based products. I don't think I'd want to pay extra for software and plug-ins for MS media player that is going to add DSP effects to the music. If I want better ambience/soundstage/imaging...

Has anyone been able to contact cattylink?

I completely agree with sending by regular airmail to avoid tax under the $1000AUD . I've had a few things sent via HK Speedpost as well, and all have been tax free! But I still feel its sometimes better to shop from a local distrubutor when you're looking into buying audio gear that uses...

Cheap tubed upsampling CD-player, anyone tried one of these yet?

WOW thats so cheap!! But because its an unknown brand I probably would stay away... I see they have a few other Tube CD Players for sale, the known brands (Lite and Shengya) fetch about $600AUD plus $200AUD shipping. For that price I would just buy the Original A8T in Australia.

I never knew cattylink sold Original CD Players. Anyway if you did buy from cattylink, there wouldn't be proper support for warranty and such from the manufacturer because cattylink would be selling grey imports. If your in the US or UK checkout www.aaa-audio.com, Mr Ping is a very nice...
