I just looked at the link. No, I haven't seen it. It looks interesting though. Or, yes I've heard it. It sounds like ____.

I've seen it before, never heard it. should be a decent headphone amp. But compared to the chinese a bit pricey and not better. Vincent is the european and american name for a chinese brand, wich also sells under his own name for way less. Same stuff though!

The Chinese bersion would be cheaper.

Anyone know the Chinese brand of manufacture?

Looks like a nice amp. Most likely sounds very tubey because of the 12ax7 tubes. If you want something very neutral and tried & true? go for an X-CanV3. imo.

looks like a tall Cayin.

For my money, I would stick with the Dared MP-5. More amp, less money.

In my opinion, the bada ph 12 is much better then the xcan v3! Quote:

I had no idea it was a Chinese manufacturer. Kinda funny 'cause "Vincent Audio" sounds all fancy shmancy. Good to know, though. Thanks for the input.

Thanks I will look into it and report - may order one from China.

Relabeled Chinese stuff that is sold in export is usally excellent - e.g., the Rose line of mark Levinson is made in China.

It does appear to be manufactured by Sheng Ya

"Vincent manufacturing.

Hi Guys,
Vincent is the export name for Sheng Ya, a top quality Chinese audio manufacturer. Since I live in China I have met many Chinese audio enthousiasts and Shang Ya is one of the best brands. It is not designed in Europe at all everything is done in China. you can look at heir website at
http://www.shengya-audio.com. There are other brands such as Korsun (OEM for Mark and Levinson although they would not admit that) and http://www.hdlt.com/ for Jungson which is probably the most expensive brand in China (and outside China as well). Opera is another great brand..."

Just got the AA catalog. I see they have an even cheaper model also. The KHV-111 hybrid is going for $500. The AA description is useless: The KHV-111 compact headphone amplifier from the German-based audiophile firm Vincent is engineered for one task, and one task alone. It's designed to fill your ears with glorious sound.

Anyway any thoughts on it?
