610 pads do indeed have a slightly wider opening for your ear. The height and depth are the same.

The Dekoni X00 pads are probably not going to be your thing, either. The opening is small so I'd guess that the soundstage would be compromised. Your ears might also have problems fitting the pads.

I think the pre-production TH-610s may have originally had the X00 pads. This was one of the pictures floating around after it was announced:       The 610 pads I bought are definitely the old Denon style, though. Stock pad on the left and 610 on the right:  

  The 610 uses pads that are nearly identical to the old Denon Dx000 pads, actually. The opening is a bit wider than the X00's but the height is the same.

After swapping pads, I've noticed that the foam tuning ring on my X00s is slightly out of place on both sides. I've tried to rotate it to align with the screws, but I can't get it to work and I don't want to ruin anything. Anyone have experience with this? @fjrabon @Whitigir

Does anyone know if the Teaks with Teak cups are actually the same weight as the TH-X00 mahoganies? I'm interested in them but I don't think I'd want anything heavier than the X00 mahoganies, unless it's only by a little.
