As a happy owner of the DC-Elite, just wanted to ask folks if using CB19 helps with improving sound quality or is it more for power savings on the mobile? I tried to search, but could not get an answer. Thanks in advance.

Interesting observation. With the right tips, and when the tracks call for it, the bass quantity on Jewel rivals even the Z1R (on some tracks, I feel Jewel had even more sub bass rumble than the z1r). But, getting the right tips was the key for me. For me, Spinfit W1 did the trick.

I am using it with Analog Squared Paper Tur-06 (hybrid tube) and it is the best pairing I heard over many other SS amps, for the z1r.

From what I read before, this seems to happen if there is an issue with the microSD card. Try reinserting, formatting the card if required.

I could not agree with you more! Combine the Jewel with A100TB and there is no short of bass. In fact my favorite chain right now is Hifiman R2R2000(Hifi-LineOut mode)->A100TB->Jewel. Incredibly musical !

Yes, everyone's ears are different. For me, the Tennmark Whirlwind and the Spinfit W1 tips gave the best sound. But, to your point @Kobe4ever, Jewel is magical when the right fit is obtained.
